The Definitive Soapbox is an open mic based in the city of Long Beach, CA. Since 2009 TDSB has supplied the community with a place to share their work. We provide the mic and an audience and you do the rest. Feel free to bring your professional songs and poems or just the words you just scribbled on a recyclable napkin. Also, we have one of the best audiences in the country, so even if you don’t want to share anything come and be inspired and encouraged. We welcome all forms of art. Our goals is to try to create community and cultivate hope through various art forms. Feel free to look around the blog and get a glimpse of what we do.
